WELCOME!

Mind is turbulent like wind but when held immobile through powerful concentration can unlock the secrets of the universe.

This is a rendezvous for contemplating about human existence, mysteries of the mind, and importance of wisdom in daily life. Perhaps when we look at the larger picture, when we are reminded of the true meaning of life, we can strive for a better world filled with understanding, mutual respect and peace.

Impervious

We are now dealing with a generation that has grown up on violent video games and aggressive vicarious entertainment. For them the dreadful images of war and torture have little shocking value. Compared to the heightened awareness and forceful protests during the Vietnam War, the objections raised over the Iraq war petered out quickly and even the daily body count of both Americans and Iraqis raise barely a whimper. Economic considerations far outweigh the ramifications of an unjust war in the minds of most ordinary citizens. Of course when questioned point blank about the sagacity of the war, most people would opt for a peaceful alternative but the hurried nature of today’s world ensures that noble intentions do not translate into timely action. This, needless to say is an unfortunate situation.

Rightly said.Today's generation ,in fact, virtually all of us are getting more and more immune to the violations of human rights.May be it signals a paradigm shift in what is perceived as "Right" and "tolerable" . Massacre of innocents is garbed as "co-lateral" damage for the greater good (only no body knows what "good" ever came out of it). And its shocking that the perpetrators of such heinious transgressions aginst humanity go scott free b'coz they simply say they "miscalculated".Maybe we are getting thick skinned, maybe b'coz its not happening to us, but to them..maybe b'coz its something we will worry about another time..for today, we are busy with life...
