In the deep recesses of his heart,
There once was a rumble.
A wave of thought arose
At first feeble and humble.
Not yet a ripple, she rode on
Imbued with scant emotion,
Bereft of any smart notion
Of love’s foibles
Or Destiny’s fables.
With hopes of grandeur
Garnering new ideas
She grew too dense and weak.
And soon petered out,
Unknown and unappreciated.
